Justin Holman, PhD

As President and CEO, Justin is responsible for managing all aspects of our business operations. As an educator, he is an Instructor of statistics and economics courses in the Hasan School of Business at Colorado State University – Pueblo. He has been an invited speaker at industry conferences and a contributor to federally funded research grants and to academic publications.

Justin has over 15 years of experience in commercial GIS research and software development and is an expert in data visualization and in building data-based predictive models. He holds a BA in Philosophy and Mathematics from Claremont McKenna College, MS and PhD degrees in Geography from the University of Oregon, and an Executive Management Certificate from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Prior to joining us, Justin acted as Chief Operating Officer at BioMedware, where he led research projects for the National Cancer Institute; as a Managing Consultant at MapInfo where he devised real estate strategies for The Home Depot, Darden Restaurants and other retailers; as Vice President of Software Development at LogicTools, now part of IBM’s Supply Chain Application software group; and as a Research Scientist at the US Geological Survey where he analyzed the relationship between climate and wildfire in the Western US.

Justin enjoys skiing with his wife, playing video games with his kids, and traveling to foreign lands.

Shawn Wills

Shawn Wills is the Director of Sales for National Accounts. With more than 13 years of experience in sales and P&L management, Shawn is known for his thoughtful, yet driven, approach to building customer-focused solutions and partnering with each prospect to ensure products align strategically and meet unique business needs.

Prior to joining Aftermarket Analytics, Shawn served in the role of Corporate Acquisition and Analytics for Verizon. Managing the east coast territory for large market enterprise accounts, Shawn provided project management oversight to the engineering, network security, overlay, and voice teams. During his tenure, he earned four Spotlight Awards, recognizing his performance excellence and direct responsibility for 139% growth within the market. Shawn has also held sales and P&L roles at Field Squared and Integra.

A native of Colorado and graduate of the prestigious University of Denver, Shawn is a former All-NCAA athlete and playing PGA professional. He enjoys golfing, skiing, cooking and other activities in the Rocky Mountains. He lives in Denver with his wife, Jennifer, and their two daughters, Ashlyn and Keegan.

Nicole Heyn

Nicole is our Director of Business Development; her focus is on client and employee relations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, contracts & human resources along with website and account maintenance.

A Colorado native and graduate of Colorado State University – Pueblo. Prior to joining aftermarket analytics in 2013, Nicole spent 8 years at CSU – Pueblo as a credentials evaluator.

Nicole lives in Colorado with her husband and two children. She enjoys traveling, planting and tending to her large vegetable garden in the summer, and volunteering at her children’s school.

Robert Valentine, PhD

Bobby is both a Developer and Analyst, excelling at JavaScript, database development, and numerical and computational analysis. He is responsible for leading the development of our modeling process.

He obtained his BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Colorado – Boulder and earned his PhD in Physics from the University of Arizona; his dissertation was titled Chaos in the deBroglie-Bohm Causal Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics.

Bobby is an avid xeric gardener, table tennis enthusiast, and fan of the Austrian school of economics.

Alex Marck

Alex is a Software Developer who performs the data engineering tasks required for our modeling process. He also helps implement new features, documents and fixes any strange software behavior, and suggest UX enhancements for Inventory Analyst.

Alex graduated from Colorado State University—Pueblo in 2018 with a degree in Computer Information Systems. In the past he has worked as a research assistant where he helped develop blockchain applications to increase non-repudiation in supply chain processes. He also mentors students in cybersecurity and participates in programming and cybersecurity competitions.

Christian Bundy

Christian, our Development Operations Engineer, has a masterful command of programming. He is in charge of defining and planning software features, policies, and releases; writing, building, configuring, approving and deploying new software iterations; verifying code quality; and configuring and monitoring our database, network, and storage infrastructure.

In his spare time, Christian enjoys working on open-source hardware, software, and licensing; hiking the lovely Pacific Northwest and visiting the indoor rock gym; and creating culinary delights in his kitchen.

Jared Strong

Jared started as an intern and has since continued working as a Junior Developer. Originally from Oregon, Jared has lived in Colorado for the past five years and recently graduated from Colorado State University – Pueblo and received a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems.

He works to create custom maps, and implement flexible ways to visualize geospatial data in an intuitive and easy to utilize system. He works with the team to develop, test, and maintain software applications.

In his free time, he enjoys hiking and biking various trails around Colorado, and when the weather doesn’t cooperate, he likes to play board games with friends.

Brett Boston, MBA

Brett is a Junior Marketing & Sales Associate here at Aftermarket Analytics. Born and raised in Colorado, Brett chose to pursue a higher level of education at the local Colorado State University – Pueblo in his hometown. He graduated with honors and received a BSBA in Management with a Marketing emphasis along with an MBA.

Brett is responsible for marketing the current products plus any new features to existing and potential clients to optimize their user experience, testing our variety of forecasting products while specifically concentrating on Inventory Analyst, creating informative content such as wiki pages or video tutorials to ensure clients know how to use our products, and manages our social media platforms. He also has a long history in customer service and management with over eight years of experience in the restaurant industry.

During his requisite leisure time, Brett appreciates spending time with his loving family, friends, and adorable dogs, driving as well as modifying his precious Subaru WRX STI named ‘Baby’, baking decadent desserts that would put Betty herself to shame, and gaming in his optimized command center on PC.

Nicholas Jacquez, MBA

Nicholas Jacquez brings a rich background of brand marketing, analytic innovation, and strategic leadership to his role as Co-Founder and Chair of TerraSeer Inc., dba Aftermarket Analytics.

Starting at top global advertising agencies he helped steward leading consumer brands including Kraft, Betty Crocker, Land O’ Lakes and 3M. This was followed by 11 years with Coca-Cola in a succession of strategic marketing and line management roles. Nicholas left Coke in 2000 and co-founded TerraSeer with his brother, a research scientist, with the vision of bringing predictive analytics and machine learning techniques to business. He served as TerraSeer CEO until 2005 when he handed the reins to Justin Holman and returned to corporate life, first at Intermatic, Inc., bringing brand focus and category management analytics to the Malibu line of landscape lighting.

Joining the Automotive Aftermarket in 2008, Nicholas created the Market Science department at the Affinia Group, using advanced analytics to help drive results for Raybestos Brakes & Chassis, ACDelco, Napa Chassis and Wix Filtration. He then served as Vice-President Marketing & Product Development at Affinia Global Chassis. Most recently he was Senior Director, Market Science for Motorcar Parts of America. Nicholas has spoken at several major industry conferences, invited to share his viewpoint on the benefits of advanced analytics in the aftermarket. Nicholas holds a BA in Theater from the University of Missouri and an MBA from the Ross School at the University of Michigan. He and his wife of 45 years live on a 48-acre family property in southern Michigan where he enjoys renovating their farmhouse, organic gardening, crafting traditional archery gear and restoring the land’s diverse habitat.
